The Annapurna Base Camp trek climbs through rhododendron forest and terraced Gurung villages into a natural amphitheatre of 7,000m peaks. Along the way you'll pass through Ghandruk, Chhomrong, and the Modi Khola gorge before reaching base camp itself, ringed by Annapurna I, Machapuchare, and Hiunchuli.
Arrive in Pokhara, transfer to the trailhead, and begin walking through lower Annapurna villages.
A sunrise viewpoint over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, then descend into the Modi Khola valley.
Climb into the sanctuary itself, reaching base camp on day 7 surrounded by the Annapurna massif.
Descend at a gentler pace, with a stop at the natural hot springs above the Modi Khola.
Final descent to the trailhead and transfer back to Pokhara.
